learn how to 3d print

9-14 Yr Olds

Join us to learn how to use technology to design a solid object using TINKERCAD, a 3D app used for design, electronics and coding! Participants will design their own small object that we will then 3D print for you to take home (ex: chess pawn, keychain, mini-figures, etc). Join us to have a blast while also learning the basics of designing, mechanics, electronics and coding. Since 3D printing takes some time, you will pick up your project at a later date from Zeeland Rec.

Tune into imagination and creativity at Challenge Island’s Tube Camp! You and your S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) team will build your very own studio and take part in a whole haul of super tuber activities: From slime to squishies to science experiments; from taste testing to mystery wheels to Secret Island Surprise Balls!

7-11 Yr Olds

All aboard the SS Slimetopia for our newest Challenge Island slime extravaganza! You and a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) Team of first mates will design and deck out your very own cruise ship, from waterslides to ziplines to ice cream machines! You’ll then set sail on a slime-drenched voyage across the seven seas! As you explore cool cultures, amazing attractions, adorable animals and international cuisine, you’ll mix up gobs of global slime recipes like Japanese Sushi Slime, Australian Jumping Joey Slime and American Apple Pie Slime!

Join us to be a real-life scientist for a week! Participants will have fun improving their science knowledge by participating in science-related collaborative group challenges! 5 Yr Olds: Register based on age at the start of the program. K-8th Gr: Register based on 2024-25 grade level

Rollerblade on down to the dreamiest, STEAMiest camp in town! You and a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) team of friends will help design and deck out our Island Doll Land, complete with cool convertibles, pink waterslides and seriously stylin’ Island Doll STEAM houses! You’ll bring downtown to life with your own doll-inspired businesses, spend a day in the sun at the island doll beach & boardwalk, camp out under the stars in your doll treehouse, and take to the slopes at the island doll ski resort. Bring on eye for design, a taste for adventure and your favorite 11.5 inch fashionable friend to this blockbuster challenge island camp!
